A 48 year old lady who was suffering from intractable back and leg pain, secondary to Neuropathic pain, from last 4 years, All conventional pain therapies to treat pain did not yield desired result. When the patient came to pain center, at Kamineni Hospitals, We used the innovative method of, intervention of spinal cord stimulation by percutaneous technique. This procedure was done at Kamineni Hospitals King Koti by Dr.Muralidhar Joshi - Consultant Pain Management and Anesthesiologist, Highlight of the procedure was implantation of the World’s smallest pulse generators to control the pain.

Spinal cord stimulation by using the smallest pulse generators is a very rare procedure which consists of insertion of a lead with electrodes over the spinal cord. The lead is connected to Pulse generators, which is implanted in the body of patient. The pain impulses will be replaced by pleasant variation impulses; this is a two hour procedure which is reversible and safe for the patients.
